Welcome home to Mountain Retreat! This charming 3-bedroom, 3-bathroom cabin in Pigeon Forge, Tennessee, offers space for up to 12 guests – great for families and friends. Slip away for fun days and relaxing nights in your private cabin in the Great Smoky Mountains. Here you’ll be greeted by a nice front porch and peaceful tree-studded views. You can start days sipping coffee on the deck, relax in the living room with floor-to-ceiling windows, read a book while unwinding in the rocking chairs, or end evenings with a hot tub soak.
Days are spent hanging out in the living room with high ceilings and peaceful views, watching TV in bed, making meals in the fully equipped kitchen, having cookouts with the charcoal grill, and playing pool and arcade games in the fun and comfortable rec room! At night, you’ll have a jetted tub, cozy bedrooms, a beautiful glass-door shower, 3 king-size beds, 2 queen sleeper sofas, 1 full sleeper sofa, 1 futon, and a handicap-accessible bedroom and bathroom with 3-foot-wide doors. Plus, the cabin is outfitted with the comforts of home, including a washer/dryer and high-speed internet.
Living Room
The living room in Mountain Retreat is a welcoming space for family and friends. It’s filled with natural light from the large windows and features sofas and armchairs where you can unwind. Spread snacks and drinks on the coffee table, flip on the flatscreen TV, and curl up in front of the stone (gas) fireplace for a cozy mountain evening. After you’ve spent a busy day at Dollywood, The Island, or the Great Smoky Mountains National Park, you’ll appreciate this comfortable space where you can gather with family and friends.
Kitchen
A major convenience at Mountain Retreat is the fully equipped kitchen. Featuring warm, natural wood cabinets, light countertops, and black-and-stainless steel appliances, it has what you need to prepare snacks, drinks, and meals in the cabin. You’ll have a refrigerator/freezer, oven with stovetop, microwave, coffeemaker, toaster, dishwasher, and plenty of dishes, glasses, and utensils for enjoying your meals at the cabin. Whether you’re making hearty Southern breakfasts, easy picnic lunches for a hike later, big holiday spreads, or just some snacks for hanging out, you’ll have the space and tools you need. Or you can just bring back leftovers or order pizza for a laid-back evening.
Dining Area
The breakfast bar in the kitchen has 2 barstools for kids to snack while you cook or for guests to chat or have a glass of wine while preparing meals. Just steps away is the log dining table, where about 6 guests can sit down for a nice meal. Or you can clear off the table and use it as your game-day headquarters with board games and card games from home. Between the dining table, the barstools in the kitchen, seating on the deck, and plenty of seating in the living room just steps away, you’ll have space for guests to spread out and enjoy meals.
Rec Room
Time to play! The rec room in Mountain Retreat is outfitted with entertainment, so you don’t even have to leave the cabin when you want to have fun. Here you can shoot pool on the pool table, try to beat the highest scores on the arcade console, or hang out on the sofas – by the fireplace or by the flatscreen TV.
The rec room even has a kitchenette, with a refrigerator, freezer, microwave, sink, and barstool seating for 4. You can keep cold drinks on hand, pop some popcorn, and set out snacks for those days you just want to hang out around the cabin and play.
Bedrooms
At night, the 3 bedrooms will be welcome retreats within your Mountain Retreat. Each bedroom has its own flatscreen TV, custom furniture with a king-size bed, and easy access to a full bathroom. One cozy bedroom has an electric (no heat) fireplace; another features an indoor jetted tub for soothing baths at night. Extra sleeping space includes 2 queen-size sleeper sofas, 1 full-size sleeper sofa, and 1 futon. The cabin also has a half bathroom on the entry level for added convenience.
Outdoor Spaces
No trip to the Great Smoky Mountains is complete without some time spent in the great outdoors. Guests of Mountain Retreat will enjoy deck spaces with lovely wooded views, a hot tub perfect for soaking after a long day of hiking in the Great Smoky Mountains National Park, a table great for enjoying coffee in the morning, rocking chairs for sipping cocoa at night, and plenty of space to stretch their legs and enjoy fresh mountain air.
Arrivals are easy with a paved driveway, motorcycle/camper-friendly parking for 4-5 vehicles and room for a trailer, a ramp to the front porch, and pretty easy roads leading to the cabin. Enjoy relaxing, day and night; fire up the charcoal grill for cookouts on nice days; and soak in the serenity of the Smokies at Mountain Retreat.

Mountain Retreat ensures you’re comfortable and feel at home, with plenty of conveniences. Use the high-speed internet to check out area attractions and events on our blog, toss clothes in the washer and dryer after a hike or before heading home (no piles of dirty laundry when you unpack!), and take advantage of accessibility features like the ramp from the parking area, extra space at one bathroom sink, and 3-foot-wide doors in one of the bedrooms and bathrooms.

When you’re not at the cabin, you’ll find plenty to do in downtown Pigeon Forge. About 10 ½ miles away, Pigeon Forge is home to dozens of great restaurants, unique shops, and fun attractions. It also plays host to events throughout the year, focused on food, art, music, and more. Gatlinburg and Sevierville are also down the road, offering even more fun and options.

A lovely and peaceful place to spend the afternoon, Parrot Mountain and Garden of Eden is like stepping into a Thomas Kinkade painting. Along with a replica of his Stairway to Paradise, you’ll find hundreds of tropical birds and beautifully manicured gardens across 4 acres.
Dollywood
You could spend days at Dollywood, riding roller coasters, watching live musical performances, eating sweet treats, playing carnival games and winning prizes, and letting the kids splash in small splash zones in summer!
